Treatment isn't working: Mark is transforming into a monster...But aren't werewolves a work of fiction? Riviera doesn't have time to think about it because Gregor, a ruthless witch hunter, stalks her around. He suspects Riviera of witchcraft and wishes to protect the people of the town from her.
